  • 13 March 07 The satellite eclipse season is nearing its peak. For 21 days either side of the March 21 equinox, satellites in geo-stationary orbits experience a total eclipse of the sun once every day.    


  • 16 February 07 The satellite eclipse season is approaching. For 21 days either side of the March 21 equinox, satellites in geo-stationary orbits will experience a total eclipse of the sun once every day. During the eclipse each day, satellites will be forced to shut down or to switch over to batteries.    


  • 10 November 05 Real Time Derived Ionospheric TEC Map of the World. This experimental global map of derived TEC values produced by IPS uses the real time global foF2 map and the IRI-90 ionospheric model.
